Media Release:

We ended up with a good finish at Road America, 3rd. We were really working hard to make the #81G&W Porsche handle as well as we could. We just couldn't get it fast enough to run with the top few cars. Then we found out why. Yokohama didn't have any of the tires that we all normally run. They brought a new construction/compound - which was not as good. A few other teams brought there tires from the last race that they didn't use. With that in mind, we were very happy to get some good points.

The V8 BMW finished 5th after a trip to the gravel trap near the end of the race. That is who G&W are doing battle with for the championship. This finish allowed G&W to extend their points lead a little more. I was happy that I could help them.

The next race is Three Rivers in Canada where I will go back to the Case It team. We will run Dunlop's there and see if we can get a win for Adam Merzon and the Case It team. See you then.
