PARKING/LOAD IN: DMTD participants may access the paddock/garages at 3:00pm and THE SPEEDWAY FACILITY WILL CLOSE AT 7pm on Monday, August 30. Enter Gate 2,.All persons entering the facility will sign a liability and COVID-19 track waiver.
FACILITY HOURS: Indianapolis Motor Speedway facility will be open Monday/August 30 from 3pm to 7pm, Tuesday/August 31 from 7:00am until 7:00pm, and Wednesday/Sept 1 from 7:00am until 7:00pm. They will not be open 24 hours.
TRACK WALK: You may walk the track August 31 from 7:00am until 7:50am. Walking only.
RENTAL CAR DRIVE: There will be no rental car laps.
CLASSROOM: Our classroom for this event will be in the "Legends Row Room"
REGISTRATION: Will take place in the classroom on Tuesday morning at 7:00am and will close promptly at 7:55am. All drivers will be required to sign our Release and Waiver of Liability and Indemnity Agreement and will then be issued a windshield sticker and a wristband good for both days.
DRIVER MEETING: There will be a MANDATORY driver meeting in the classroom, Tuesday at 8:00am. There will be no meeting Wednesday.
HOURS: The track will be hot from 8:30am until 4:30pm with a break for lunch from 12:00pm to 1:00pm each day.
NUMBERS: Will be of contrasting color and no less than 10” high on each side of the vehicle. You will not be allowed access to the race track without a conforming set of numbers.
FUEL, 2 SUPPLIERS AT TRACK:
REMINDER: Drivers are financially responsible for any damage they cause to race track property including, but not limited to, guard rails, tire barriers, grass areas and posts. Additionally, any absorbent materials used to clean up after leaks, spills, etc. or fire suppression equipment expended will be billed back to the driver of the car.
